A San Francisco based startup that has an innovative application for insurance is currently looking to bring on a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer. This company has significant backing by world-class investors and will be building a team of developers in the downtown Toronto area. The ideal candidate should have strong experience building applications usings Ruby on Rails and should be able to work well independently and as part of a team. This position is onsite in Downtown Toronto, off Spadina.

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience
• 3 plus years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Experience with both relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience shipping clean, well-tested code quickly
• Experience working with Salesforce a plus
