Our client is a leader in SAP deployment and customization. They help their customers to plan their migration to next generation IT Platform and Cloud solutions that drive true digital transformation.
We seek highly motivated SAP Basis/Cloud Platform Management Specialists with experience and exposure to cross-platform technology landscapes, highly skilled in managing large SAP environments on-premise and in the cloud. Hands-on experience managing large SAP instances on heterogeneous database models such as HANA, Oracle, ASE and SQL is an asset, and the ideal candidate must have sound understanding of the most recent SAP technical roadmaps and their alignment with client requirements.
This specialized resource should confidently manage SAP and cloud solutions on behalf of several clients, and execute regular maintenance, patching and ideate continual solution and platform improvements. You’ll participate in our overall platform (basis) team activities including design, planning, upgrades, migrations, patching and regular solution maintenance.
TRAVEL
As required. Efforts will be made to reduce travel, but as experts in the field, travel should be expected.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Daily SAP Basis/Platform/Cloud solution monitoring, maintenance and management for our end-clients as a key member of our Managed Services team.
Perform activities as AMS provider in managing large SAP landscapes and have experience with various SAP troubleshooting techniques and ability to develop deep technical analysis for infrastructure and application optimization. Ability to lead service improvement initiatives and application performance management teams for customers.
Building of new SAP systems (ABAP, JAVA, HANA).
Performing homogeneous system copies.
Providing technical support for configurators and developers.
Technical SAP troubleshooting in support of all SAP application areas/products and working closely with AMS partner and SAP support.
On-call emergency 24x7 support on a rotating schedule, including “Go-Live” support for cutover periods
Concurrent support of multiple SAP landscapes across multiple SAP applications
Research and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
Provide periodic reports per our AMS customers’ requirements.
Follow and improve-upon appropriate technology design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise policies, and ensure they are applied effectively, assist in the evaluation and development of impact and risk analyses.
Ensure adherence to relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices
As a specialist you’ll be partnering with internal and customer stakeholders, providing strategic, technical leadership, ensuring that all on premise and cloud solutions adhere to industry best-practices for scalability, maintainability, usability, performance, security, and portability.
Participation in migration of on premise applications to cloud infrastructure as well as maintaining applications already in cloud infrastructure while maintaining a professional relationship management with cloud vendors and clients, adhering to monitoring and maintenance SLA’s, tracking performance, troubleshooting and reporting.
Troubleshoots complex technical issues for SAP on premise and cloud-based solutions.
Identifies and mitigates risks on projects.
Accountable for SAP landscape continuous improvement and stake holder’s satisfaction, managed services cost justification from SAP Basis side, quality and task scheduling.
