POSITION: CONSULTANT – SAP PROCESS AND CLOUD INTEGRATION DEVELOPER

LOCATION: Toronto

REPORTS TO: Professional Services Manager

DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will help their direct clients in the design/deployment of SAP message-based integrations between SAP, SAP Cloud and non-SAP systems. This is a development position, as such you’ll participate in all aspects of our projects including roadmap/strategy design, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, coding, testing and troubleshooting, knowledge transfer and documentation.

TRAVEL

As required. Efforts will be made to reduce travel, but as experts in the field, up to 100% travel should be expected.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience configuring and using PI 7.3 or higher (Java Stack)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP integration development configuration and implementation of adapters (File, Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST, IDOC, EDI, RFC, JDBC, OData)
• Certification or equivalent experience in SAP process and/or cloud integration technologies (XI/PI/PO/HCI/SCPI...)
• Experience in integration of one or more of SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur and Fieldglass with SAP's digital core
• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline with specialized leadership training and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education

SKILL SETS

• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Solid presentation skills
• Experience with gathering requirements and conducting workshop sessions with the business\client
• Strong experience in architecting, designing, developing, and managing Enterprise Integration Projects using SAP’s Process Integrator/Process Orchestration and or HANA Cloud Integration (HCI)
• Hands on experience in SAP PI/PO/HCI/SCPI, SAP PI Standard Adaptors deployment, Proxy development (ABAP and JAVA), and mappings (Graphical Mapping, JAVA, and XSLT mapping)
• Experience with ABAP development and SAP standard enhancement techniques
• Experience with custom adaptor development
• Creation of new enterprise service repository (ESR) and Integration Directory objects, and able to enhance existing objects
• Good working knowledge of SAP integration and development tools, such as BPM, OData, BRF+, EDI, IDocs, Workflow, Web Services, System Landscape Directory (SLD), Error and Conflict Handler (ECH), Sync-Async Bridges
• Hands-on experience in the Business Object Process Framework (BOPF) development and configuration is a definite plus

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or Business Administration. Combination of business and technical education is preferred. Formal SAP education a definite asset.
