CUSTOMER SERVICE IN DRAYAGE/LOGISTICS – TALENTZOK

Immediate opening for a Drayage/Logistics Customer Service Rep in Long Beach, CA who possesses:

• 3+ yrs. + Customer Service with Drayage experience in the Long Beach/Los Angeles Ports - make appointments at the Port
• CSR Experience and ability to have a calm demeanor
• Computer experience, MS Word, Excel and ability to pick up on (Trinium (software they use) - will train but wants someone with TMS (Trucking Management System)
• Ideal candidate will be familiar with drayage (imports and exports) customs inspections, POs, DOs, UA, AV, LFD, terminal appointments, interchanges, per diem, demurrage, pier pass, over weight corridor, transloads, fumigation, etc. and Knowledge of local terminals

FULL DUTIES:

Responsible for taking orders from client, getting the specifications, determining the when and what of vessels products will be arriving on, determining how many days in port, following up daily and expediting product delivery.

The selected candidate will further possess:

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Requires attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft office, Excel, Explorer, and Outlook, Trinium).

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Calling packing houses to make sure product is ready for pickup along with scheduling pickup times.
• Communicating with customers via phone or email.
• Communicating with terminal personnel and steamship line personnel.
• Ensuring that drivers are turning in paperwork daily to be processed.
• Processing all BOL’s and driver’s paperwork as well as updating delivery status in our TMS system.
• Data entry in our TMS system.
• Maintaining an accurate onsite yard inventory
