Immediate opening for a Paralegal for our client, an “essential business”, located in Mira Mesa, CA who possess:

• At least 5+ years’ experience within insurance defense, construction defect, and personal injury matters
• Strong documentation experience
• ABA paralegal certificate

FULL DESCRIPTION:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Propounding and responding to discovery
• Preparing for depositions, mediations, or settlement conferences
• Issuing subpoenas
• Independently obtain, review, and organize medical records/medical billings, calculate damages including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage
• Review job files; and familiarity with the California and Federal rules of Civil Procedure
• Managing trial preparation including coordination of witnesses, preparation of jury instructions, trial exhibits, charts, trial notebooks, supporting documents, exhibits and hearing binders
