Our well-known consumer products organization is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to join their finance team to establish and develop a formal FP&A function and operation. The Senior Director of FP&A opportunity is a newly created role that will play a hands-on role in the development of the entity’s FP&A process and procedures. The Senior Director of FP&A will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Develop and manage the financial planning processes that focus on strategic planning by aligning resources with value creation
• Establish strong interdepartmental collaboration with functional partners for monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results
• Spearhead the long-term strategic planning process and manage the short-term financial analysis and forecasts
• Develop a strategic view of the company’s financial results and performance across various business units, regions, and products for improved decision-making
• Prepare period-end reporting packages for presentation to executive leadership
• Establish and develop a best-in-class corporate FP&A function with talent, systems, and processes

The qualified Senior Director of FP&A will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field
• Preferably fifteen plus (15+) years of progressive experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities at a corporate FP&A level (not divisional/business unit structure)
• CPA or MBA is required
• Experience in a large, publicly-held company is preferred
• Strong motivational leadership skills along with the ability to thrive in a fluid and dynamic environment at an executive level
• Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills and the ability to work collaboratively at all levels and within a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with SAP, Cognos, Tableau, and/or Power BI would be preferred
