Our publicly traded, technology client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting function. The Senior Accountant will support and assist in the daily accounting operations, month-end close, and drive the management of a critical technical accounting area.This position offers the visibility to senior leadership within the finance function and overall enterprise. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Participate in full-cycle general accounting functions of the organization
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close process with heavy involvement in G/L account reconciliations and related analysis
• Work cross functionally to ensure technical accounting matters related to capitalization/expenses are properly captured and accounted for
• Liaise with R&D to maintain constant updates on the status of R&D projects
• Participate in ad-hoc accounting and finance projects

The qualified Senior Accountant will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting
• At least 4+ years of accounting experience – preferably in private industry, OR public/private industry experience
• Prior experience with SAP is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills with senior management, and polished presentation skills
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment along with being pro-active and organized
