Our financial services client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their finance function.  The Financial Analyst will support the daily operations by providing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting as primary responsibilities.  The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Support management by analyzing financial results and preparing monthly forecasts
• Provide financial strategic financial analysis for reporting and business decision making objectives
• Assist in the annual budget and forecasting process and provide recommendations on how to improve forecast assumptions and baselines
• Provide appropriate data and analysis on new deal transactions while monitoring performance on existing covenants
• Provide support for ad hoc analysis and projects as needed

The qualified Financial Analyst will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related area with approximately 4+ years in corporate finance focused on forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytics.
• An accounting knowledge foundation and application.
• Strong Excel skills and prior experience with SQL is required.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess the impact of operations on financial results.
• Strong cognitive, communication, and leadership skills.
• The ability to work independently and cross functionally at all levels.
