Our large, industry leading client is seeking Senior Financial & Business Intelligence Analysts to bolster their corporate FP&A team. The Senior Financial & Business Intelligence Analyst will assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data analyzing. The Senior Financial & Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Develop, quantify, and evaluate both internal and external data and transform information into relevant business intelligence
- Utilize data mining and analytical techniques to manipulate business intelligence for strategic decision support
- Provide financial reporting and analysis for various business units and product mix to assist in strategic planning
- Partner with various departments by providing analysis on trends, history, and forecasts and making recommendations to impact performance and profitability
- Perform other complex analysis in support of key business objectives and initiatives
The qualified Senior Financial & Business Intelligence Analyst:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related area with at least 5+ years of experience in corporate finance
- Will have financial analysis experience ideally in a consumer product or media/entertainment industry
- Will possess strong skills with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos
- Will possess advanced Excel skills
- Will possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess the impact of operations on financial results are required.
- Should have strong cognitive, communication (vocal and engaging), and assertive leadership skills.
- Must have an inquisitive and proactive mindset
