Our established consumer products client headquartered nearby the Long Beach Airport is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst for a newly created position within their growing organization. The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for data support and analysis for the sales operations and track and monitor key performance goals and metrics. The role will report to the Senior Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager. The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Prepare and analyze large data sets for management and Sales leadership
• Design reports and processes to provide Sales management with performance monitoring indicators
• Analyze compensation plans that will assist senior management in strategic decision making and provide incentive laden compensation plans for the sales group
• Utilize SQL databases to customize reports, dashboards, and campaigns that monitor sales operations and trends
• Provide support to executive leadership in the development, analysis, and communication of cost saving initiatives and strategies
• Participate in ad-hoc projects, as needed

The qualified Sales Operations Analyst will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong balance of financial analysis and SQL knowledge
• Three (3) or more years of data/business/finance analytics experience
• Strong understanding of SQL database and table structures; prior exposure to Power BI, Tableau and Oracle ERP preferred
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills
• An inquisitive and driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fluid environment
