Our software industry based client is seeking a temporary Staff Accountant to assist with daily and monthly accounting operations for approximately 1 - 3 months. The temporary Staff Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Preparing cash reconciliations and cash clearing
• Monitor and prepare amortization of prepaid and accrual accounts
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and related variance analysis
• Perform financial statement variance explanations

The qualified temporary Staff Accountant will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior experience in SAP is required
• At least 5+ years of experience in G/L accounting with heavy exposure to balance sheet and P&L accounts and related reconciliations
• Solid Excel skills, such as pivot tables, V-lookups, Sum/If, are required
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
