  • Responsibilities

    Our global pharmaceutical client is seeking a Finance Partner to join an emerging business unit to assist and provide support with financial analytics, budgeting, and product costing support. This newly created position offers the chance to make an impact within this critical business unit by playing a visible role in partnering with senior leadership and various functions within the division. As the business unit grows, exposure to additional responsibilities will present themselves for growth and advancement. The Finance Partner will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

     

    • Drive timely analysis of various metrics to provide strategic insight to the business for decision making support
    • Guide delivery of financial goals and target that align with corporate and business unit priorities
    • Prepare and lead production costing for the business unit by incorporating consistent assumptions and key business deliverables
    • Support business by providing real-time financial details to drive increased cost efficiencies
    • Prepare and report on ad-hoc analysis to support decision making and drive better financial performance and profitability

     

    The qualified Finance Partner must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related area with approximately 2+ years of experience in corporate finance, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess the impact of operations on financial results are required. In addition, the qualified candidate should have strong cognitive, communication, and leadership skills. The Finance Partner should have strong system skills and have prior experience with SAP. The ability to work independently but also as a contributing team member is required along with advanced Excel skills.

     

    This position will work under a hybrid work arrangement but will initially begin in a full in-office arrangement as the individual trains for the first 90 days.
