Our technology client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team and contribute to the development of the financial accounting and reporting operations. The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the daily and month-end close process and report to the Director of Accounting. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Prepare and post month-end entries for daily and month-end responsibilities
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports and related analysis and resolve any accounting discrepancies or disputes
• Perform account analysis for expenses and compare actual to budget
• Ensure financial records are in compliance with GAAP and corporate guidelines
• Assist in various ad-hoc projects and corporate initiatives when presented

The qualified Senior Accountant will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting
• Exposure to ASC 606 / revenue recognition concepts related to recurring revenues preferred
• Prior experience within smaller sized organizations (< $100M in revenue) that operate in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment within a fluid business operating state
• Prior experience with Netsuite is highly preferred along with strong MS Excel skills
