Our growing financial services client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their operations in this critical role.  The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily accounting transactions and operations.  The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Participate in and oversee the daily and monthly accounting operations for the organization and ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Manage the month-end close process
• Prepare monthly financial reports and statements to executive management
• Develop and implement internal process workflows to provide operational consistency and efficiencies
• Collaborate with senior management to improve overall operating effectiveness as well as identify areas for strategic growth

The Accounting Manager will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• At least 5+ years of solid corporate G/L accounting experience
• Prior experience in managing and developing staff
• A CPA license is highly preferred
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a diligent work ethic
