Our international manufacturing client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their large organization and support their accounting operations. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for handling full cycle accounting and being responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Being an integral part in the month-end close by preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and providing support for the preparation and reporting of financial statements
• Handle the daily accounting of balance sheet accounts including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets
• Partner with the Accounting Manager on detailed analysis for budgeting purposes
• Analyzing monthly results and variances and provide support to senior management

The qualified Staff Accountant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business related field. Candidates with straight public experience should have at least 2-3 years of busy season experience at any size firm. CPA and previous public accounting experience are preferred. The Staff Accountant should possess excellent communication (both oral and written) skills and the ability to work collaboratively at all levels and within a fast paced environment.
