    <p>Talenthr has been retained by a successful wearable technology company to hire a Sr Marketing Director. The company develops and manufactures smart glasses for the BtoB and BtoC segments. This is an unique opportunity to join the virtual reality and augmented reality markets with one of the most relevant players in the industry.<br /></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develops and implements strategic marketing plans for the company.</li><li>Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly.</li><li>Researches and develops appropriate go-to-market strategies and recommends pricing policies and associated sales channels.</li><li>Works with the cross-functional leadership to develop the strategic business framework to develop a profitable, market-leading WW category approach.</li><li>Coordinate the development of all marketing initiatives in order to meet or exceed sales budgets for direct and key accounts.</li><li>Coordinate the completion and distribution of post event reviews on all marketing initiatives as well as financial results to plan.</li><li>Develop communications editorial calendar; manage consumer communications campaigns by coordinating with managers to develop content; review, publish and track performance of campaigns.</li><li>Develop and update marketing materials for clients, partners and new markets.</li><li>Manage hiring, training and oversite of the team.</li><li>Assume various projects based on interest and needs of the business.</li><li>Responsible for development and management of all marketing budgets.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in supporting the growth and creating brand awareness of early state companies.</li><li>Strong understanding of modern marketing tactics in B2B and B2C environments.</li><li>Strong social media savvy.</li><li>Previous work with fast growing hardware companies.</li><li>Experience with and knowledge of smartphone/carrier and consumer electronics markets.</li><li>College degree with academic focus in Marketing, Public Relations Business or Advertising. MBA is a plus.</li><li>Detail oriented and organized, but also able to multi-task and juggle projects.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work across a variety of departments and stakeholders.</li><li>Hands on, hardworking and reliable.</li></ul>
