    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Manage, track and maintain SKUs accurately with a high level of detail for Masterfile
    • Assign product numbers, UPC, and all required product set up information for JDEdwards and Mapics network systems
    • Responsible for PIM (Product Information Management) updates and maintenance
    • Update existing product grids quarterly and develop new grids as needed
    • Handle spreadsheet projects for product/line and category analysis and recommendations
    • Research, analyze and create a power point of competitive information
    • Work with overseas vendors for product specifics and quotes
    • Work with Customer Service to research customer questions, offer substitute product options, and answer questions
    • Assist Product Manager to update existing products and develop line extensions based on competition, market demand, or sales direction
    • Assist Product Manager with new product development, category adjacent add-on items, and exploration of new categories
    • Responsible for maintenance of marketing and sales support materials, category price lists, and product grids
    • Handle creation of product color cards for Berwick and Hampshire brands
    • Request quotations from internal manufacturing and overseas vendors
    • Work with Graphic Designer/Design Team for new or revised marketing and sales materials, product grid updates, new product idea creations, etc.
    • Implement sample order requests, trade show organization requests, signage designs and collateral for trade shows and customer events
    • Maintain an updated file system including product files, pricing files and quote files both electronically and manually.
    • Detail new processes for Binder 101 Training Manual
    • Interdepartmental (in NJ and other states) and overseas communication extremely important
    • Interaction with Sales Managers, Reps, and Manufacturing
    • Cross-functional flexibility with other departments as needed

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of Retail, Wholesale or Marketing experience.
    • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
    • Intermediate Spreadsheet knowledge
    • Power Point knowledge helpful
    • Detail-oriented, organized, strong communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
