  • Responsibilities
    • Assist in performing technical support for all segments of the organization
    • Provide reactive technical support for customers including machine and process troubleshooting
    • Perform individually or with peers on scientific or engineering projects
    • Assist in performing scientific or mathematical analysis and calculations
    • Assist w/ the design/conduct/directs complex laboratory experiments/field tests to ascertain hitherto unknown information
    • Interpret and communicate results
    • Contribute ideas which improve our product or processes
    • Understand and interpret business and technology trends
    • Perform other related duties or similar nature and complexity as directed

     

    Required Skills

    ABILITY TO: Interface, negotiate, and coach customers on technical problems in both proactive and reactive mode. Apply scientific method to difficult problems. Logically analyze data and technical information. Design experiments and statistical process control techniques. Research information. Prepare technical written reports. Make corrective plans.     KNOWLEDGE OF: Multiple aspects of semiconductor equipment subsystems. Basic implanter or RTP physics. Beam optics. Dosimetry systems, Vacuum technology. Temperature measurement systems. Semiconductor fabrication and device physics. Clean room protocols and wafer processing. Implant chemical analysis techniques. Implant and wafer metrology. Basic business, accounting & financial practices. Basic management techniques. Supervising others.

    SKILLED AT: Using PC. Guiding others through technical issues. Personal communications. Delivering formal training & presentations. Interpreting engineering standards and forms. Applying knowledge to the solution of difficult problems. Written communication. Time management. Technical learning. Problem solving.  Priority setting.

    Required Experience

    Bachelors and 6+ years. Master’s and 4-6 years, or Doctorate and 2-4 years.
