Under the supervision of the Section or Shift Supervisor, the Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine procedures in the various Laboratory areas including Blood Bank, Hematology, Serology, and Chemistry. Responsible for performing high quality work with speed and accuracy.

Required Skills Required Experience

Registered as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the Registry Board of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and/or The National Certification Agency. Recent graduates who are registry-eligible will be considered, and must obtain MLT certification within one year of employment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the team to which he/she is assigned.
• Ability to grasp and adapt to changes in procedure and process. 
• Ability to effectively resolve complex issues.  
• Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and other applications in meeting contract deliverables.
