    ** About the job **

    Candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience with underground utility public works construction.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversee and manage construction projects including the development of work plans, schedules, budgets, manpower, and equipment needs

    • Supervise and coordinate the execution of the construction

    • Supervise Foremen and field crews

    • Serve as senior field representative to owners, subcontractors, and outside agencies

    • Ensure strict adherence to contract specifications, providing workmanship and quality assurance

    • Promote a safe work environment; Monitor site safety and identify safety hazards, taking necessary corrective actions.

    • Inform Senior Management of conflicts, potential problems, schedule difficulties, etc. and assist with the resolution of these problems

    • Control purchasing, procurement, and subcontract management

    • Maintain daily job records and photographs

    • Ability to schedule and manage multiple crews and projects at the same time

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5-10 years of experience in utility public works construction

    we do rail road transit, treatment plants, pumps stations, utility underground and street improvements. Anyone with those background with utility experience is a plus for us.

    • Degree in construction, engineering or building-related consultancy.

    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)

    • Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent project management

    • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit

    • OSHA 10 / 30 preferred

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
