    Hallmark employees provide clients and travelers "Peace of Mind" in the hustle and bustle of today's travel experience. We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant with exceptional people and communication skills, strong work ethic and superior attention to detail skills.

     

    General HR related functions include:

    • Maintaining HRIS systems and related processes
    • Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools
    • Primary contact for fulfilling ad hoc HRIS and Benefits reporting requests, monthly/quarterly reports, and other requests for reports
    • Assists in the review of all file feeds and provides support for HR systems
    • Timely and accurately processes new hire, status change, and termination records in HRIS
    • Completes other HR-related responsibilities as assigned
    • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
    • Completes annual form I-9 audit
    • Administers pre-employment tests; conducts reference checks
    • Files EEO-1 report annually
    • Answer employment inquiries over the phone, fax, and in-person; Follow up on employment inquiries
    • Maintain professional appearance and conduct
    • Assist with office filling, collating, and copying
    • Some training coordination, and workers’ compensation processing

    • Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous manner when dealing with co-workers and the public

    • Strong administrative and data management skills
    • Ability to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner
    • Working knowledge of HRIS system(s)

    Required Experience

    • Experience in handling sensitive, confidential information
    • Previous experience in an administrative or similar HR role preferred but not required
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    • Data entry experience with HR/Payroll systems
    • Experience with LAWSON strongly preferred
    • OBTAIN AND RETAIN AN AIRPORT SECURITY ACCESS WITH CUSTOMS CLEARANCE (PASS A FEDERAL BACKGROUND CHECK & FBI FINGERPRINTING)
