    ACCOUNTS PAYABLE PROCESSOR role is based in LEAR FINANCIAL SHARED SERVICE CENTRE LOCATED IN BRNO, CZECH REPUBLIC. Centre is supporting European Lear plants and covers internal Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing with focus on process standardization and highest quality service to all supported entities.     YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

    • Master data maintenance (creation, changes)
    • Incoming accounts payable documents processing (verification, formal check, two/three way match, coding, price/quantity discrepancy resolution, recording into ERP system)
    • Payment proposals preparation as per payment calendars
    • Communication with internal and external Lear customers (requests, queries)
    • Month-end close activities and regular reporting
    • Vendor and intercompany statements and reconciliations
    • Internal controls and SOX testing
    • Cooperation with other team members with focus on KPIs achievement
    • Ad-hoc tasks and related administration

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Degree in business administration / accounting/ finance preferred
    • Upper-Intermediate English (corporate language and process related documentation in English)
    • Intermediate knowledge of second language (German, Italian, Spanish or French) is an advantage
    • Previous Accounts Payable experience (preferably within an international environment)
    • User level PC skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel)
    • ERP system knowledge (SAP, QAD, MfgPro) is an advantage
    • Analytical reasoning
    • Team player with ability to work independently
    • Result oriented personality with focus on detail and deadlines
    • Positive attitude and good communication skills
    • Flexibility and stress resistance

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • Three years or more experience in credit collection work or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in construction / manufacturing industry.
    • Knowledge of Lien / Bond Law. 
    • Working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Act and other pertinent state and federal laws concerning collection activities.
    • Must be able to analyze and problem-solve issues. 
    • Good communication skills.
    • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office programs.
    • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Participates in meetings.
    • Ability to write clearly and informatively; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
