    Precise Systems is a professional services company currently working for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force; competing as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) under several NAICS codes. Our core competencies include systems engineering, program and project management, logistics, information technology and cyber security, and software development services. We were founded in 1990 and since our establishment we have been providing cutting edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.

     

    We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to support our California customer. 

    The Engineer will have experience in the following:

    • Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is highly desired.
    • UNIX, LINUX, and Windows programming experience required.
    • Experience utilizing MS Visual Studio required.
    • Knowledge of modern programming languages such as C++, C#, etc.
    • Knowledge and fluency using Visual Basic and utilizing .NET Framework.
    • Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) programming experience is a plus.
    • Hardware programming for Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and microcontrollers is a plus.
    • Self-starter willing to work in a team environment and mentor junior engineers.
    • Responsible to ensure that all software design documentation is complete and error free.

     

    This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standard under a Wage Determination.  As such Under the SCLS selected candidates are entitled to both the hourly rate aforementioned and a health and welfare benefit that equals $4.13 an hour up to 40 hours per week. Precise Systems is meeting that benefit through the use of a _bona fide_plan which includes certain insurance coverage.

     

    EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in software development.

     

    EDUCATION: BS or equivalent engineering degree required. MS preferred.

     

    CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A SECRET CLEARANCE OR BE ABLE TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECRET CLEARANCE.
