    MAJOR FUNCTION: Work on campus or off campus with a participating agency. Student must be eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study program. Eligibility of program will be determined by student need and a successful background check. Responsibilities will vary by Hiring Department. Examples of work responsibilities will include: tutoring, filing, copying, sorting, and customer service.

    MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: MUST BE AWARDED FEDERAL WORK-STUDY FOR 2021-22 TO APPLY. AWARD WILL BE LOCATED ON TCC PASSPORT UNDER FINANCIAL AID AWARD STATUS IF AWARDED.

    SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING: A need to participate in the Federal Work-Study program.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
    • Partner with HR and executive staff to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
    • Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within DFV business units. Create and implement strategies to attract passive job seekers.
    • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
    • Create quality interview processes that ensure hiring managers and interview teams are leveraging best-practice behavioral and situational questions to uncover evidence of skills, fit, track record, and motivators – all required to predict success.
    • Review and evaluate candidate’s work history, education, training and other qualifications.
    • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and HR.
    • Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
    • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
    • Regular follow up communication with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
    • Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
    • Develop and implement search strategy that includes vendor selection process and performance metrics for all searches.
    • Assist with the development and maintenance of career opportunities section on DFV website and job boards.
    • Adheres to all federal, state and local regulations governing the employment process; keeps applicant files in good order for applicant tracking purposes.
    • Develop and execute a personal time management plan.
    • Other HR related duties, including implementation of employee-related events, as assigned.
