Tampa Bay Delivery, LLC is hiring drivers to deliver Amazon packages from our operation in St. Petersburg, FL. Applicants must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. Personal accountability is a key component, as you will be working alone to complete routes in an accurate and efficient manner. • Starting pay is $15/hour • Health benefits are offered after 30 days of full-time employment • Up to 80 hours of PTO may be earned per year • Drivers are responsible for safely and effectively completing delivery routes in an accurate and efficient manner • Shifts begin at 12:30 pm • All delivery routes are engineered to be completed in 8 hours or less • A 30-minute lunch break, as well as two 15 minute breaks will be allowed • Additional compensation will be awarded if incentives are achieved • Classroom-style training will be required before drivers can progress into delivering on their own Responsibilities: • Perform daily vehicle inspections • Manually lift, load, and unload packages and boxes (up to 50 lbs, but most are much smaller) • Read and navigate by GPS and follow delivery instructions • Maintain a timely schedule and complete all deliveries as planned WHILE PERFORMING THE DUTIES OF THIS JOB, EMPLOYEES ARE REGULARLY EXPOSED TO OUTSIDE WEATHER CONDITIONS. Qualifications: • Enjoy driving and be passionate about customer service • Be able to get in and out of a van quickly (with often more than 130 stops per day) and climb up and down stairs • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license • Must pass a background check, a 5-panel drug test, and have a safe driving record • Preferred: MINIMUM SIX MONTHS of verifiable experience in a similar vehicle within last five years - High-top cargo vans, such as a Ford Transit or Dodge Promaster 2500, are the vehicles to compare your driving experience with • Preferred: SIX MONTHS of similar experience in parcel delivery • Pledge to make safety a daily priority Compensation: $15 hourly
