We work on-site Monday through Thursday, and the option to work from home on Fridays. We also offer a strong benefits package, including: • 401(k) matching • Health insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave Responsibilities: The person in this role will support one litigation attorney most of the time, at most two at a time. • Manage 40-50 active litigation cases with efficiency, proactivity, and enthusiasm • Manage calendar with precision • Meet all case deadlines • Correspond professionally and effectively with opposing counsel, judicial contacts, etc. • Demonstrate excellence in client communications, care, and management • Collaborate with and manage a legal assistant • Handle case closings with expedience and thoroughness • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) after the onboarding and training period The person in this position will have growth opportunities within a fantastic, collaborative culture. Qualifications: A great fit for our firm has a can-do attitude, strong levels of confidence, and the legal/institutional knowledge of an experienced litigation paralegal. • Demonstrate a robust understanding of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and personal injury litigation protocols • Strong technical skills: experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat strongly preferred • Proficiency with state and federal e-filing • Attention to detail is essential • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English) • Effective interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and external parties. • Values: Empathetic, organized, and detail-oriented with a genuine passion for helping the injured.
