Tampa Microwave is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Manpack & Fly Away satellite terminals designed and built for the expeditionary user community to guarantee communications connectivity in the most austere environments. Tampa Microwave primarily serves Federal and Department of Defense markets.
We are seeking to fill a Manufacturing Operator/Assembler position located in our Clearwater, FL location. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows production drawings and sample assemblies as required.
- Mounts components such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits on PCB assemblies.
- Adjusts and trims materials and components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional requirements.
- Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as sanding, cleaning epoxy bonding, and curing parts and assemblies.
- Performs online inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Must perform other duties as assigned.
- Must openly display a commitment to ethical business conduct and appropriate social behavior.
- Position and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig fixtures or other holding devices.
- Crimps, stakes, screws, press fits and perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Provide guidance and training input to other operators.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Level Security Clearance upon hire as required
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in relevant job-related field.
- High School diploma or equivalency preferred but not required.
- Employee will be required to sit regularly and lift or move products up to 25 pounds.
- Fluent in the English language- written and oral
