    TPC Twin Cities is a private par-72, 7,513 yard golf course located in Blaine, Minnesota, just minutes north of Minneapolis and St. Paul.  Designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, the 18-hole golf course features 235 acres of breathtaking countryside and hosts the PGA TOUR 3M Open. Blending time-honored traditions of golf with today’s conveniences, TPC Twin Cities 31,000 square-foot Clubhouse serves as a focal point for dining, hospitality, and relaxation. From large-scale corporate functions to intimate social gathers, TPC Twin Cities is one of the best venues in the Twin Cities.

     

    TPC Twin Cities is currently seeking a full-time HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL to direct the daily activities of the entire golf operation and golf shop.  

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Oversee daily golf and merchandise operations, and facility standards
    • Develop sales strategy to ensure financial targets are met for outings and tournaments
    • Assist with PGA TOUR and local tournament event operations, planning and execution
    • Assist PGA TOUR Players, Members, and Guests with their golfing needs
    • Responsible for the financial and operational performance of the golf operations
    • Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a service team that is passionate and committed to impeccable service
    • Establish and maintain the daily "pace of play" standard
    • Track and verify all players and guest, greens fees, golf cars, club storage, lockers, handicap fees, and other chargers necessary, and facilitate accurate accounting and record-keeping
    • Oversee the golf cart fleet while ensuring proper maintenance and record-keeping
    • Play golf with a variety of members and\or guests as time permits

     

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

    • At least 5 years’ prior golf management experience in progressively responsible positions, Head Golf Professional experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
    • Previous supervisory experience of a team of at least 15 employees or more
    • Proven track record of ability to train, mentor, develop and retain staff
    • Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude with a passion for service excellence and member satisfaction
    • Must be a Class A PGA Member in good standing
