    Job Title: Senior Director of Security

    Division: Tao Group Hospitality

    Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

    MAIN DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:

    Act as a liaison with local law enforcement, client representatives, talent team security and outside agencies.

    Produce consistent results measured against performance metrics on a quarterly basis.

    Spearhead and maintain security protocols, procedures and initiatives.

    Assist in the development of venue policies based on industry leading security standards and best practices.

    Conduct training and briefings for security staff.

    Lead and develop a team of Security Directors and Security Managers.

    Ensures compliance with laws and regulatory agencies.

    Oversees, manages, and ensures completion of all security reports inclusive of operational plans.

    Prepare operational security reports for C-Suite level executives.

    Establish staff development and training protocols.

    Highly responsive to emergencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.

    Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers to minimize expense and maximize budgeted results while maintaining optimal operating efficiency.

    Troubleshoot and document any incidents and/or problems including those affecting clients, guests, and staff or operating issues.

    Determine staffing levels and track costs against budgets.

    Attend all relative meetings and produce event notes outlining client expectations and operational needs.

    Oversee and collaborate with the individual venue security for special and entertainment events.

    Perform other broad security duties as needed/directed to accomplish the overall security mission at Tao Group.

    Develop state of the art Security Operations Centers equipped with technology tools and resources.

    Develop, hire and train skilled Security Operations Center Operators.

    REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years Security/Operational management experience, knowledge of nightlife, hospitality, special events, concerts, or theatre operations within a sizeable entertainment venue.

    Four-year degree in Criminal Justice or related field. MBA preferred.

    Ability to compile and execute company and departmental standard operating procedures and procedures (SOP’s).

    Demonstrated experience working alongside C-Suite Executives

    Prior Executive Protection experience desirable although not required.

    Ability to effectively articulate security and budgetary initiatives.

    Knowledge of CCTV, surveillance equipment, alarms and radio communications

    Extensive experience working alongside city and state agencies.

    Proven ability to assess, develop and successfully execute strategic internal and external security plans and quickly adapt to change as required by events.

    Previous experience managing in a union environment necessary with an emphasis on negotiating collective bargaining agreements.

    Knowledge of safety and fire codes.

    Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a budget and working with vendor relations.

    Excellent verbal & written communication, organizational and time management skills required.

    Must have the ability to work independently when necessary and use sound business judgment.

    Ability to present an uplifting personality while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and business ethics.

    Demonstrates integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values, and principles while ensuring consistency.

    Adept at maintaining a positive, open, approachable, and professional relationship with a diverse group

    Problem solving, reasoning, motivational and organizational abilities are used often.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

    Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.

    Frequent typing with repetitive motion, sitting, and extensive walking through various venues required.

    Ability to travel to all venues to support/assist as needed.
