    Reports To: Sr. Director of Public Relations & Communications, NYC - Dotted Line to VPs of Marketing, LV

    Direct Reports: None

    Type: Exempt

    Review Schedule: 90 days and annually

    Salary Adjustments: Annually, based on performance

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Public Relations & Marketing Supervisor is responsible for liaising with the internal and external marketing, operations and PR teams, information management, and the maintenance of PR assets. The position is Las Vegas-based and will learn the development, execution, and monitoring of PR & marketing campaigns, creating original content, and conducting market research.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    Manage all assets (fact sheets, press releases, image databases, etc) for Las Vegas businesses.

    Oversee city-wide editorial/marketing calendar in conjunction with social and venue leads for most up to date information.

    Assist with media onsite for shoots, interviews, as directed by venue leadership teams and PR Agency.

    Support PR and marketing teams to plan and implement campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness. Following guidance from Sr. PR Director for all initiatives.

    Maintaining an up-to-date press list of journalists, influencers, and other members of the media.

    Regular reporting of PR coverage for Las Vegas up to and not limited to sightings, celebrity relations, influencer relations.

    Compile and distribute a weekly list of notable local events.

    Support Assistant Director of Marketing with tracking and delivery of marketing jobs sent to print.

    Work in conjunction with Social Media teams to guide content planning for all organic content.

    Assist in the execution of photoshoots and video shoots as applicable for PR related items that would be shared also on organic social channels.

    EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a relevant field

    1-3 years of experience working in the PR & marketing industry

    Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

    Valid Driver’s License

    21+ years of age

    Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards

    WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail

    Ability to interact with all levels of staff in a fast pace, high energy environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, efficient, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

    Must be reliable, collaborative, resourceful, supportive, and a creative problem solver

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to coordinate and manage simultaneous projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks while using good judgment to meet deadlines

    Ability to work flexible hours - some nights and weekends

    Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    proofreading skills with attention to detail, especially while working under demanding deadline

    Always seek out new techniques and skills to maintain cutting edge industry knowledge while immersing self in restaurant/hospitality culture and design/digital trends.
