Role Summary
The Senior Security Intelligence Analyst is responsible for implementing intelligence production for TAO Group Hospitality and MSG, a special capability to be the lead (go-to person) on an intelligence team in support of TAO’s venue/event operations and investigative activities. The Senior Analyst will report to the Director, Threat Management and Security and liaise extensively with Security Operations Centers (SOCs), venue personnel, and other members of Threat Management & Security (TM&S). This role will contribute to the TM&S’s Intelligence Department in support of general analytical functions while being a subject matter expert (SME) on the team in providing intelligence support for events, directly supporting security investigations, and leading intelligence-driven analytic production.
Specific Functions/Activities Summary
General Duties and Requirements
A minimum of (3) years in a corporate, law enforcement, or government setting performing a security intelligence function
Work with Security leadership and partners to establish a proactive Intelligence program designed to mitigate risks and ensure patrons have one of a kind experiences at MSG’s venues and/or events.
Provide guidance, review and/or author a multitude of assessments relating to security risks, physical and cyber threats, mergers & acquisitions, marketing partnerships, e-Discovery, legal discovery, executive travel, and vendor qualification.
Triage security events, incidents and alerts to determine the appropriate response plan. Identify when and how to escalate events as needed to appropriate stakeholders
Serve as a SME for the vendor vetting process by teaching your juniors and/or customers about the process, expediting high priority vendors through the process for executive leadership, and ensure TM&S stays on target for production and output while maintaining a high-quality assessment.
Identify methods to mitigate threats, improve processes and implement solutions through your chain-of-command
Monitor threats impacting MSG venues, events, and/or operations via open source intelligence, third-party platforms, industry and law enforcement partners to provide periodic and timely reporting and actionable intelligence
Must have effective communication skills, including strong writing and editing skills. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization, as well as externally to providers and partners, is essential.
Must be comfortable with working in a fast-paced, priority-driven environment.
Effectively identify and analyze relevant risks and vulnerabilities; produce actionable products in a timely manner to inform enterprise-wide security operations.
Conduct research of open-source intelligence and social media platforms for known and potential threats capable of impacting our organization and events.
Ability to manage multiple requests in support of complex investigations.
Must be a strategic, analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to monitor and report on tactical and strategic threats to safety or operations.
Some experience with analytical writing, creating ad hoc reports and/or creating and updating guides and templates for others
Strict confidentiality, professionalism, dependability, and situational sensitivity is essential.

Experience utilizing data visualization and/or industry leading intelligence platforms
Events/Operations Duties:
Work on a rotating shift to support events remotely or on-site for MSG Sports, MSG Entertainment, MSG Executives, and TAO/Hakkasan
Provide guidance to the venues’ SOCs on generating leads for video reviews. Have a working knowledge of the video review process and software to conduct a video review yourself, if necessary
The ability to learn and teach others to use several venue-based systems and software
Provide live intelligence to senior security staff during events and operations with minimal guidance
Conduct high priority security assessments and identification of person(s) of interest during live events and operations with minimal guidance
Specialized Skillset - Insider Threat
The ideal candidate will have a strong open-source research skillset and a high degree of technical and cyber knowledge. A minimum of 2 years’ experience with at least two of the following skills are required:
Risk and compliance
Conducting e-Discovery reviews
Parsing and analyzing system logs from a SIEM
Using a third-party tool to create, assess and triage insider threat alerts
3 letter agency, corporate, or military experience working in cyber intelligence
Nice to haves
Industry certifications in forensics, as a cyber analyst, or in the advanced use of Microsoft Excel

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Willingness to travel periodically.
Willingness to work a rotational schedule not always consisting of traditional 9-5 hours, which will include nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support business needs. This is a nightlife, restaurant, and entertainment business which thrives at night, weekends and holidays.
