    Job Classification: Hourly

    Directly Reports to: Purchaser, Chef de Cuisine/Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef

    Position Summary: Ensure quality and consistency of, and properly stores, all deliveries. Interacts with fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. Opportunty to grow within an established worldwide brand.

    Duties and Responsibilities: including but not limited to

    Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook.

    Manages all incoming orders in a quick and efficient manner.

    Accurately follow specifications of purchase order.

    Uses several different computer applications to communicate, generate information, analyze data and place orders

    Inspects and receives all deliveries and ensures the accuracy of all orders including but not limited to:

    Receiving purchase orders, while checking for accurate quantity and price

    Weighing fish and meat to confirm accuracy of invoices

    Checking expiration dates of dairy and dry

    Reporting any and all inaccuracies to the Purchasing Dept.

    Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.

    Communicates product needs to the purchaser and chefs.

    Completes daily paperwork including but not limited to: posting of all invoices into receiving and operation logs, chefs log, and service log

    Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members.

    Training Requirements:

    Food Handling certificate.

    Minimum Education and Qualifications:

    2 years of 1 receiver/stocking experience preferred.

    Experience as a receiver in a high-volume operation preferred.

    Experience using Microsoft Excel

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.

    Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.

    Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.

    Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.

    Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

    Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
