    Job Description

    We’re looking for a rockstar content editor to oversee our website ecosystem. Responsibilities include creating blog posts, designing web page in WordPress, auditing and updating websites. In addition, manage content for a special upcoming mobile application project as well as other digital marketing initiatives such as online listing management, menu management, and contribute to email marketing and marketing support.

    Responsibilities Include

    Brainstorming, writing, and publishing consistent news articles for upcoming happenings from Tao Group Hospitality venues worldwide.

    Should have a strong background in writing specifically in blog/news style format.

    Collaborates daily with all stakeholders including Marketing Teams, Culinary Teams, People Practices teams for current happenings and upcoming initiatives across various cities.

    Work with our web agency to build and transfer external existing websites into our new TaoGroup.com website architecture, as well as continuously improve current websites aesthetically.

    Design and create new website pages and populate content.

    Audit websites for formatting consistency and errors.

    Update our website event calendar for multiple venues.

    Must have knowledge of working knowledge of on page SEO and be able to write and manage on-page Title, Meta descriptions, and shareable multimedia.

    Use SEO software to audit and fix and deploy various strategies.

    Utilize content management system to maintain up to date content for a new mobile application.

    Maintain our online business listing presence across multiple markets.

    Writing and formatting email marketing campaigns through Mailchimp & other email marketing software

    Analyze and Develop content strategies for Email Marketing to increase user engagement

    In Addition to The Aforementioned Essential Job Functions, The Content Editor Will Possess the Following Qualities:

    Experience creating & designing websites using WordPress.

    Working knowledge of Photoshop and ability to manipulate and resize images for the web.

    A passion for innovation, creativity and out-of-box thinking.

    Incredible organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to write creatively while maintaining brand standards for voice and persona.

    A high bar of excellence and the ability to take feedback and criticism without ego.

    Experience implementing successful digital strategies with a proven ability to utilize best practices and process improvements.

    Strong organizational skills, flexibility and endurance are needed to multi-task across many projects with varying deadlines.

    An ownership mentality with the ability to think independently, self-learn, and create and develop ideas that lead to positive change/improvements.

    Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities as well as work environment.

    Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

    The use of discretion and the maintenance of high levels of confidentiality are absolutely required.

    Reports To: VP, Marketing and Director of Web Projects

    Review Schedule: 90 days and annually

    Salary: $60k-$65k based on experience
