Fast paced and growing Nightclub/Restaurant and Hospitality Group is seeking a Payroll Manager to join our Human Resources team!Job Responsibilities:
Have a strong understanding of multi-state wage and hour laws.
Process payroll for multiple cities
Process rate changes and transfers to different venues
Responsible for entering payroll journals into Accounting software
Allocations
Weekly labor reports
Audits
Weekly Audits of sick and vacation accruals
Create custom labor reports when requested.
Train managers and chefs on payroll compliance.
Act as a front line for the Payroll Director, triaging requests and handling any day-to-day requests
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Strong computer skills
Strong reporting skills
Proficient at MS Office (especially Excel)
Self-motivated worker who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be organized, proactive, with a strong attention to detail and follow-up.
Good at multi-tasking and responding to e-mails/calls from venues in different time zones with knowledgeable efficiency.
Experience:
4-6 Years of Payroll/HR experience (hospitality experience a plus!)
