  • Responsibilities

    The position is responsible for assisting the kitchen and food servers with food service, proper set-up and maintenance of functioning spaces, as well as serving guests and keeping the side stations clean and well stocked. This job description is a summary of duties however it is by no means an all-inclusive list. It is merely a broad guide to expected duties of the position.

    Be a brand advocate by providing Guests with accurate information regarding our venues, menus and pricing

    Anticipate guest’s needs and ensure they are met per company’s service standards

    Receives food and ensures proper presentation

    Deliver food to restaurant areas. Promptly deliver all orders to appropriate sections and tables. Ensure that all ordered food is announced to guests at their tables

    Ensure that food ordered by guests is served properly

    Provide service to cocktail and food servers in a timely manner

    Inform Manager/ Server if guests have any issues when food is delivered

    Understand the food temperature danger zone

    Assist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage product

    Assist in set up, service, and break down of areas as assigned. Assist with the movement of tables / chairs through restaurant as needed and dictated by service and management direction

    Working knowledge of product identification

    Check tables, chairs, countertops for cleanliness as well as service stations

    Clean spills, debris, or broken glass according to guidelines of Company/departmental policy/procedures

    Inform management of any complaint, comments or incident. Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude

    Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws. Maintain company safety and sanitation standards

    Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time

    Keep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash, etc. throughout shift. Clean all spills and waste immediately and place all trash in proper receptacles

    Inform management of any complaint, comments or incident

    Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift

    Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations

    Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude

    Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws. Maintain company safety and sanitation standards

    Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed

    Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a Manager immediately

    Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned

    EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

    High School Diploma preferred

    Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

    Valid Driver’s License

    21+ years of age

    Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards to include Sheriffs Card, valid NV Alcohol Awareness Card and NV Health Card

    Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards

    WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    Minimum of six (6) months experience in hospitality working in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or nightclub

    POS systems

    Restaurant operations

    Opening and closing duties

    Proper lifting techniques

    Guest relations

    Sanitation and safety

    Safe alcohol service

    Beverage presentation

    High volume operations
