Security Supervisor Nightlife Venue - Los Angeles
The Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of daily routine under the guidance and leadership of the Security Manager and management. The Security Supervisor is responsible to ensure that the security hosts comply with the Security Standing Orders pertaining to the venue during their shift. The Security Supervisor is also responsible for the protection, safeguarding, security of assets, personnel, customers, and all visitors, as well as assisting in staff training, recruitment, counseling and progression.

Responsible for maintaining the workstation in a neat and orderly fashion
Maintain and promote a friendly atmosphere for customers and staff
Comply with added hours or time frame after scheduled shift as needed
Provide customers with information and directions
Maintain up to date knowledge on identification types/feels/textures
Maintain up to date knowledge of “persons of interest” who may be denied entrance into our venue or past employees who have been 86’ed from the venue
Maintain up to date knowledge of VIP customers/clients as well as hotel executives
Responsible for protecting Company Group assets
Assist the management in various tasks
Review and edit incident/accident reports for completeness and accuracy
Interact and assist Manager on Duty and supervisors as necessary to provide adequate security protection
Submit written reports of any breach of laws, regulations, policies and procedures to the Security Manager
Assist in any internal or external investigations conducted by Gaming Board, Casino Management, Human Resource or authorized local authorities Enforces policy and procedures, rules, and regulations and Gaming requirements
Initiate disciplinary actions on subordinates
Impart departmental training and coaching to subordinates
Assist with scheduling and hiring of Security hosts
Must be able to perform the duties of all Security positions
Ensure all employees are complying with regulations, ordinance, MICS, gaming, Company policies and procedures
Patrol the venue premises to ensure the safety of customers and employees
Maintain an accurate inventory of all radios and other equipment used by Security personnel
Respond to emergency incidents and take actions as necessary
Provide for and/or schedule additional security as needed
Take required enforcement action for violations of County and State laws and if warranted, may call local authorities for assistance
Patrol Venue premises and assists guests as needed
Assist in instructing and training staff
Assist in the training of department staff and developing and implementing standard operating procedure manual for the department
Review all incident reports and provides statistical data to management
Prepare reports and correspondence as required
Inform management of any complaint, comments or incident
Appear in dress code for all shifts at your scheduled time
Related duties as assigned
Assist and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
2 years of Security experience or 3 years of Hospitality experience preferred
High School Diploma Preferred
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Valid Driver’s License
21+ years of age
Possession of or the ability to possess all state and venue-required work cards
Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
