    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

    The Inside Sales Representative develops, maintains and interacts primarily utilizing the phone and other forms of electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers to increase sales of our products and/or services.  Develops sales strategies designed to demonstrate the features and benefits of our products to achieve increased sales and profitability. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Contact partners through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
    • Collaborate with marketing, management, product management and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns and offerings.
    • Conduct selling efforts as needed
    • Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company.
      • Serve with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of these various departments and locations in order to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.
    • Identify revenue opportunities within customers' communities through communications and other activities as needed
    • Prospect, qualify and generate sales within the company’s established trading partners.
    • Call prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
    • Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
    • Represent Taoglas as a leader in the industry through personal appearances at conferences, Tradeshows, etc.
    • Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.

     REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Associate’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.  
    • Minimum 2 years in sales or sales support experience and 2 years in customer service, public speaking or training role.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline or equivalent experience in related field. 
    • Working knowledge of the most current technologies and products used in the industry.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.  The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stand.  The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. 

     

    POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

    This is a full-time position.  Days and hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM TO 5:00 PM. 

    Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    TRAVEL:

    Up to 5% of overnight travel is anticipated for this position.  Some occasional local day travel may be necessary.
