As a TDL Engineer/Subject Matter Expert, you will support Tactical Data Links (TDL), you will be responsible for providing troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of TDL systems within a shipboard and shore lab facility environment.
Job Duties:
- Provide troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems, including CDLMS, C2PS, LMMT, MOS, and JTIDS
- Responsible for facilitation training courses for TDL systems and reviewing/updating training curriculums
- Assist design team to perform, prepare, review, analyze, and modify system designs, technical documents and data packages for TDL systems to ensure customer requirements are satisfied
- Participate in integrated product teams and design reviews
- Perform onsite technical assists, Casualty reporting (CASREP) support, and System Operational Verification Tests (SOVT) for multiple Tactical Data Link systems
- Construct, test and integrate equipment racks for TDL systems
Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field preffered
- 5+ years in a C5I or C4I-SR military or DoD environment performing system validation and repair; 4+ years of experience working with complex communications systems and equipment
- Experience in installation, integration, and testing of complex communications systems
- Experience with commercial and militarized documentation and configuration management
- Familiarity with CDLMS, C2P, NGC2P/JRE, LOS and satellite communications, power supplies, and encryption devices desired
- Experience with Tactical Data Links and military networks highly preferred
- Security+ preferred
- 15-20% travel down the line
