Accountant

Remote (EST preferred)

Full Time hours

Pay rate: up to $45/hour (weekly pay!)

Temporary assignment: 12-14 months

Our client is in the in clean energy industry and they are looking to hire an AP Accountant to join their team for a 12-14 month assignment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee employee expense report processing
• Record vendor refunds
• Assist with AP & Purchasing team management
• Review AP invoice coding
• Analyze open invoices
• Assist with compiling a weekly payment list
• Prepare invoice accruals
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and related adjusting entries
• Review vendor invoices
• Apply invoices to purchase orders
• Communicate with internal teams regarding invoices
• Communicate with vendors regarding payments
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Five or more years of accounting experience
• MUST have AP experience- including invoice coding, weekly payment analysis and accruals
• MUST have in-depth Concur experience- including administration, workflows, and best practices
• Ability to complete GL account reconciliations and enter adjusting entries
• Familiar with purchasing contracts and review
• Strong data analysis skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
