Main responsibilities in the position of Planning, Sourcing and Operations Associate include but are not limited to:

Purchasing – Assist Supply Chain department to create and send Purchase Orders for approved purchases as determined by Supply Chain Manager using SAP system. Communicate with Vendors to confirm ESDs and deliveries of issued Purchase Orders. Work with Supply Chain Manager to identify and confirm price break and Alternate source advantages.

Sourcing – Work with both Supply Chain and Engineering departments to source and purchase new inventory and Engineering based items. Perform new vendor research and compare with alternate sources to ensure quality and stable purchasing relationship.

Supply Chain and ESD scheduling – Review materials on Purchase Orders to identify ship date from suppliers to generate Sales Order ship dates and communicate to CS team.

Logistics – Track shipments with freight forwarding companies and provide necessary description of goods and documentation for Customs Clearance

Production Coordination – Release and close Production Orders based on Master Schedule in a timely manner and work with Production Coordinator to ensure order schedule is being adhered to.

Inventory Check – Provide Customer Service stock levels and lead times of requested materials.

Cycle Counts – Release, conduct, and maintain list of materials to be included in weekly Cycle Count operations.

Costing – Perform and update Materials Costing for items prior to being shipped out.

Production Labels – Print labels for Sales Orders and production items.

BOMs Upkeep – Work with Engineering/Production to update and maintain BOMs as necessary.

Shipment QC – Perform Quality assurance of materials that are being shipped to ensure accuracy of items, quantities, label markings and are free of defects.

SOP – collaborate with Production Engineer to draft Build documents to facilitate Production.

Accounting Reports – Generate sales volume reports on specified products.

Inventory Upkeep – Maintain accurate inventory levels by reviewing goods movements and performing adjustments.

RGA – Assist with RGAs by transferring in material received back from customer and closing out rework orders.

PN Generation – Create Sales PN, identify root PN from product matrix, create BOM and routing

Other ad hoc responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

Associates degree from a vocational college or equivalent work experience

SAP knowledge preferred

MS Suite knowledge required

Professional attitude: self-managed, self-motivated, proactive, detail orientated and a team player with a keen sense of urgency

The ability to multi-task and prioritize urgent requests accordingly
