Position: Temporary Food and Beverage Supervisor

Schedule: The Club is open 7 days a week and provides regularly, lunch and dinner service and on occasion breakfast service. We expect the hours to range from 40 – 50 per week, depending on dining reservations and banquets. Dining service is covered by the Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager and General Manager and the specific days/evenings worked would be jointly decide together to ensure all shifts are covered.
Position Summary:
The Restaurant supervisor will have the responsibility of managing and overseeing all food and beverage services including a la cart and banquet service. Specific duties include:
- Managing, overseeing, training and coaching the service staff, including server assistants, servers and bartenders.
- Scheduling service staff, ensuring adequate coverage and execution for dining and banquet service.
- Inspecting dining rooms prior to service, ensuring table arrangements and set-ups meet the Club’s service standards.
- Greeting each table and ensuring the members and guest are pleased with their food, beverages and service and resolving any related issues.
- Conducting pre-service staff meetings, ensuring staff is aware of the specials, service expectations, general Club information and any other important information.
- Working closely and communicating often with the culinary team to ensure front of the house and back of the house is together to deliver exceptional service and food quality to members and guests.

- Ability to stand, walk, sit, twist and reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
