    Job Description

    The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for the end-to-end life cycle of an employee in the organization. This position is a true generalist that will partner with the President to promote and implement Human Resource disciplines and programs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide day to day leadership and management that mirrors the mission and values of the company.
    • Collaborate with business unit leaders to implement HR initiatives to support business goals.
    • Oversee employee leaves of absence, including providing guidance to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADAA
    • Guide management and employees, research and develop policies, procedures and guidelines to implement HR strategies that align with organizational values and directives.
    • Review human resources needs and implement effective continual improvements to enhance efficiency for the Company.
    • Manage the TFWG new hire onboarding program including benefits orientation, safety training and all requirement paperwork.
    • Investigate employee complaints and concerns and make recommendations for resolution
    • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand their talent needs and attract, develop and retain talented employees.
    • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs via social media, job boards, Internet and other means.
    • Undertake initial screening of resumes, profiles and applications from candidates.
    • Schedule, coordinate and conduct interviews, extending employment offers to candidates, and completing pre-employment activities, including reference checks. Undertake new employee onboarding requirements.
    • Coordinate college recruiting efforts for internships and trainee positions.
    • Manage training and development, mentoring and coaching Programs.
    • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
    • Demonstrated experience with program design and implementation
    • Experience using Alliance (AllPay) a plus.
    • Mitigates company risk associated with human resources related issues through policy development and implementation while monitoring company compliance to legal requirements.
    • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.

    • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.

    • Complies with federal, state, provincial, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

    • Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

    • Accomplishes special projects as assigned.

     

     

     

    Competencies:

    • Human resources management including recruiting, hiring, compensation and benefits programs with a strong knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.

    • Strategic mindset and long term vision capabilities

    • Self-motivated leader and a team player with capabilities to make decisions and solve problems

    • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)

    • Relationship and team building

    • Change management

    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office as a minimum)

    • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

     

    Education and/or Experience:

    · Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related area (required)

    · 5+ years related HR Generalist experience (required)

    · Minimum ten (10) years of progressive HR positions, supported multiple locations or companies, international involvement and/or experiences

     

     

    Training/Certifications/Other

    PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP highly desired
