    Job Description:

    Love kids, cooking, and looking for a fun environment? We are hiring Weekend cooking instructors. Looking for high-energy individuals who are passionate about food and inspiring those around them to have fun in the Kitchen. Help us to create an amazing experience for kids looking to dive into the world of cooking!

    Responsibilities

    Must be available Weekends Saturday or Sunday anywhere between 7:30am-4pm

    Weekday availability is a plus as we run afterschool programs during these days

    Instruct amazing cooking camps for ages 2-8

    Engage and teach guests about various cooking/baking skills related to the class menu which is provided for you

    Create a friendly, energetic, and consistent experience for our guests

    Responsible for the success of the event from start to finish

    Interact with all guests to ensure customer satisfaction

    manage and supervise a team of culinary assistants for events

    Setup before class and help clean up after

    Create a controlled safe and clean environment; provide first aid treatment as needed

    Qualifications

    Self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment and move quickly

    Natural curiosity and passion for food & culinary entertainment

    Upbeat personality with a smile on your face a majority of the time.

    Eagerness to get your hands dirty

    Great communication skills with children

    Confident with a range of cooking and baking techniques and speaking in front of a group with an amplified speaking voice

    At least one or more years experience entertaining kids

    Formal culinary education or relevant restaurant experience a plus but not required

    Formal teaching experience and training in education, childhood development, or related field a plus

    Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 45 pounds

    Must pass a background check and be first aid/CPR certified

    Must enjoy the atmosphere of a small business
