The Bakery Production Team Member is responsible for following clear direction from leadership, and support the team to ensure that Taste of Belgium continues growing sales and profits. The role focuses on contributing to a culture of pride that consistently delivers quality items while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administrative Support Control and limit waste of product, inventory, and supplies. Contribute to external product ordering, facilitation of orders from bistros, markets, and catering. Participate in inventory. Follow all health, safety and sanitation standards
Culinary Support Execute production; design and implement system to evaluate new recipe; contribute to new recipe ideas. Have creativity and prior knowledge of piping and decorating cookies, pastries etc.
Facilities Support Ensure that all TOB equipment remains in good working condition and up to company standards through the monitoring and coordination of repairs, routine maintenance, and coordination with vendors, assisting with daily cleaning details.

Preferred Experience:
1+ years in a commercial production environment
Ordering, invoicing, inventory processes
Requirements
Must be able to understand and follow recipe guidelines
Ability to work in fast-paced, high pressure environment
Team player with excellent organizational and time management skill
Commitment to quality service, including food safety and sanitation
Food and beverage knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Ability to stand for long periods of time with periods of moving quickly, bending, lifting, and twisting
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Occasional environmental exposure to cold, heat, and water
Over 18 years old
