We are seeking an experienced and passionate Tasting Room Manager to lead our dynamic team and deliver world-class service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement wine knowledge and sales training programs for the tasting room team.
Lead, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and state alcohol service laws.
Manage administrative tasks including payroll, scheduling, inventory control, and reporting.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and presentation of tasting room and member lounge facilities.
Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to create innovative promotions and events.
Control expenses and manage budgets for labor, cost of sales, and other operational costs.
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Conduct performance evaluations and support career development for team members.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality or wine industry management.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of wine and wine service standards; WSET or similar certification a plus.
Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
