Job Summary:
Tasting Room Utility & Sanitation plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall functionality of the Tasting Room & Bistro. This position supports daily operations by restocking wine and retail inventory, assisting with facility upkeep, and ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for guests and staff. Working both independently and as part of a team, the role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Responsibilities include stocking, performing routine cleaning tasks, assisting with events, and supporting guest services such as carry-outs. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, physically capable of lifting and moving products, and committed to upholding company standards for hospitality, safety, and appearance. Forklift training and certification available to those who qualify.

Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications
All Employees are expected to follow all policies and procedures outlining standards of attendance, appearance, safety, and aggressive hospitality. Questions concerning policies, procedures or specific job duties should be brought to the attention of your supervisor or manager
Must be minimum of 21 years of age
Must possess valid Driver’s License
Must be pleasant in dealing with guests and co-workers
Must be able to endure prolonged walking and standing
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced tasting room. Flexibility is a must in this position as the job requires switching tasks quickly.
Repetitive reaching, grasping, bending, twisting, and lifting items up to 50 lbs. without concern
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Must possess balance, agility, and the ability to work at heights while carrying tools or equipment
Demonstrates problem solving ability
Excellent communication skills, oral and written
Forklift Certification welcomed but not required
Responsibilities not limited to but including:
Restock weekly wine order in an organized manner as trained per inventory SOP
Assist in routine cleaning tasks in keeping with local health code and company standards to maintain the cleanliness & appearance of Tasting Room & Bistro.
Cleaning tasks will include: dusting, sweeping, mopping common spaces and cleaning bathrooms.
Collect, compact, and dispose of trash, recycling, and hazardous materials
Restock merchandise including wine and retail items in Tasting Room
Restock inventory, such as soaps, paper products, and cleaning supplies
Operating forklifts to move products or to store them within a warehouse
Operating company vehicles on property
Assisting guests with carry outs to vehicles
Assist in the setup and cleanup of special events or projects
Report maintenance issues or hazards to supervisors promptly
Maintaining cleanliness of public spaces
Other duties as assigned by the Tasting Room Manager
