We are looking for baristas and counter team members to help us open our Wellesley cafe! As a barista team member, you will get to show off your artistic coffee skills while you handcraft delicious and creative coffee beverages at one of our beautiful barista stations. You will be trained by our head of coffee and our talented in-house coffee trainers. Our counter team members welcome our guests and are responsible to deliver amazing and delightful guest service. Counter team members will have a working knowledge of all Tatte products, delivering delicious savory dishes and pastries, operating the point of sale register, and keeping a clean and organized workspace. Please note: Our Wellesley cafe is expected to open in June, so training for Wellesley will be at our Newton Centre location (or possibly another greater Boston location). Primary responsibilities and requirements: Greeting guests in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones Answering guests questions about menu choices Being prompt, while offering amazing guest service Maintaining inventory full and equipment clean Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized Consistency and efficiency working on the barista stations Delivering beautiful and artistic espresso beverages. Knowledge of all Tatte products Use of Cash Register Welcome guests to our store, while engaging with them throughout their experience. Determine guests' needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge. Your recipe for success: Strong passion and working knowledge for coffee, our products, and guest service. Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista working in a fast-paced restaurant/cafe. (Highly preferred) Engaging, warm, and welcoming communication skills and presence. Desire and ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to travel to Newton Centre or another greater Boston cafe to train before our Wellesley cafe opens in June.
