Local CPA firm in Myrtle Beach, SC seeking a full time - Tax Accountant Certified Public Accountant - Senior Staff Accountant or Staff Accountant.

CPA Tax Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complex individual and business tax returns including multi-state returns
• Fiduciary and estate tax returns
• Financial statements including Compilations and Reviews
• Business personal property returns
• General ledge bookkeeping including assistance and support of client Quickbooks
• Collaborate with departmental leadership to ensure smooth, accurate reporting processes
• Assist with project planning and recommend implementation changes that could ease the organization's tax burden
• Prepare and present quarterly reports detailing relevant tax information
• Work with leadership and key stakeholders to create a predictable tax season

CPA Tax Accountant Qualifications:

• Applicant should be a CPA with 1 to 4 years experience or planning on sitting for the CPA exam.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong understanding of corporate tax laws and processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Expert-level knowledge of standard accounting software
