Tax & Bookkeeping Associate (CPA Track Preferred)

Are you someone with bookkeeping or small business accounting experience who enjoys helping clients stay organized, accurate, and ahead of their financial needs? Are you looking for an opportunity where you can continue building your accounting and tax experience while working closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment?

An established professional services firm in the Southtowns of Western New York is seeking a Tax & Bookkeeping Associate to join their team. This full-time opportunity offers $25–$28/hour, depending on experience, along with bonus potential and strong benefits.

The firm originally targeted recent accounting graduates, but as the team continues to grow, they are now prioritizing someone who can bring more hands-on bookkeeping and small business accounting experience to support post-tax-season client work. Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), bookkeeping, and client accounting support is highly valued, while exposure to tax preparation is considered a strong bonus.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with small business clients, balancing bookkeeping and accounting support, and continuing to grow within tax and advisory services over time.

This is not a large, high-burnout accounting environment. The firm offers direct mentorship, exposure to meaningful client work, and strong work-life balance, including a 4-day work week outside of tax season (Fridays off).

This is an onsite position near Orchard Park, NY.
