    Overview:

    Our client is seeking a skilled Tax Manager to support their tax team in managing compliance, partner reporting, and complex tax filings. This remote role offers flexibility in hours depending on seasonal needs, making it an excellent opportunity for a professional seeking both balance and meaningful work in a dynamic tax environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review tax workpapers and forms for U.S. federal, state, and international compliance.
    • Review estimated and final Schedules K-1 and K-3 for partner reporting.
    • Manage the annual tax compliance process, including review of all partnership and corporate filings.
    • Oversee U.S. international information reporting returns.
    • Create and maintain Excel models to support tax calculations and analysis.
    • Review federal and state returns with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
    • Analyze and understand partnership waterfalls and allocations.
    • Handle preparation and review of K-1s and related returns.

    Qualifications:

    • Financial Services Fund Experience (required)
    • Public Accounting Experience (required)
    • CPA (required)
    • Strong background in U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance.
    • Experience with partnership and corporate tax filings.
    • Proficiency in Excel for tax modeling and reporting.
    • Solid understanding of tax waterfalls, allocations, and partner reporting.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and review skills.
    • Ability to manage workload effectively across busy and slow seasons.
